Quasimorph World Hub
Solar system stations, factions, horror mechanics, and your Magnum home base
Quasimorph is a turn-based extraction RPG on Steam from Magnum Scriptum and HypeTrain Digital. Version 1.0 launched on July 31, 2026 after Early Access that began October 2, 2023. The game world is not a single map but a fractured solar system of corporate stations, rebel enclaves, and horror-touched facilities orbiting Mars and beyond. Every mission sends a clone from the Magnum into one of these locations; understanding who controls each station and what systemic rules apply there is as important as your loadout.
This hub organizes lore and mechanics that shape where you deploy, what you loot, and how dangerous the run becomes before you extract.
Solar system overview
Humanity’s post-collapse stations cluster around Mars, its moons, and deeper targets with escalating threat profiles. Read Quasimorph Solar System for a station-by-station breakdown of Mars, Phobos, Deimos, and outer destinations. Three beginner moons share a critical property: Absentia status means no Quasimorphosis and no Bramfaturas horror events. That safety window is deliberate — Magnum Scriptum wants new players to learn extraction basics before the station itself becomes an opponent.
Once you leave that triangle, stations gain Bramfaturas and the Quasimorphosis meter can rise. The dedicated Quasimorphosis in Quasimorph page explains eccolapse, Rapture, and Baron encounters at high meter values.
Factions and politics
Every station belongs to or resists a faction. AnCom syndicates, SBN corporate security, RealWare industrialists, Tezctlan revivalists, Civil Resistance cells, Dilthey research networks, Tianmìng trade blocs, and smaller powers all compete for territory and barter leverage on the Magnum. Reputation with these groups determines what you can buy, which storylines unlock, and which enemies you face on deployment.
The Quasimorph Factions Guide maps major powers, their station presence, and how standing affects your economy between missions. Pair it with Bartering on the Magnum once you have loot worth trading.
The Magnum as world anchor
Your persistent base is the Magnum, a corporate ship orbiting the conflict zone. Between missions you upgrade Navigation, Engineering, Supply, Research, Hangar, and Cloning departments to reach new stations, craft better gear, and recover from clone losses. The Magnum Ship Guide covers each upgrade track and how ship progression gates late-game story content.
Version 1.0 adds the Pact department for S.K.U.L.L. metamorph contracts. Read Pacts and S.K.U.L.L. Project for all 142 pacts, rite unlocks, Baron drops, Tezctlan exchanges, inventory consumption rules, and Quasimorphosis cost tradeoffs when metamorph power collides with horror stations.
Ship systems tie directly to Items crafting including Augmentations and Implants, Classes unlocks, and the Loadout Planner when you test kits before deployment.
Horror versus tactical zones
Quasimorph blends tactical turn-based combat with systemic horror on eligible stations. Defense, Control, and Security mission types lock the Quasimorphosis meter at zero, giving you predictable clears when you need stable farming or story progress without eccolapse pressure. Assault and loot missions on horror-capable stations let the meter climb with time and kills until Rapture events threaten the run.
For survival tactics once the meter moves, read the Quasimorphosis Survival Guide. For mission selection rules, see Mission Types in Quasimorph and the Walkthrough Hub.
How world knowledge connects to guides
World pages explain where and why; guides explain how.
- Getting Started with Quasimorph — safe first runs on Mars, Phobos, and Deimos.
- Combat Stances in Quasimorph — AP costs that matter on every station.
- Room Clearing Tactics — door discipline before horror zones.
- Classes Hub — faction-aligned mercenary kits and Class Chips.
- Weapons and Armor and Resistances — gear that matches station enemy profiles.
Recommended reading order
- Quasimorph Solar System — beginner moons versus horror destinations.
- Quasimorph Factions Guide — who controls what and why reputation matters.
- Magnum Ship Guide — unlock stations and craft chains through ship upgrades.
- Quasimorphosis in Quasimorph — before your first non-Absentia deployment.
- Pacts and S.K.U.L.L. Project — metamorph contracts and Magnum Pact department.
The solar system in Quasimorph is hostile by design. Learn its rules early and every clone you send out returns with loot instead of becoming another line in the station log.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which Quasimorph stations have no Quasimorphosis?
Mars, Phobos, and Deimos are in Absentia status with no Quasimorphosis and no Bramfaturas. They are the intended beginner zone before you enter horror-capable stations elsewhere.
What are Bramfaturas in Quasimorph?
Bramfaturas are horror events that occur on stations outside the Mars moon triangle. They accompany Quasimorphosis pressure and make deeper destinations qualitatively more dangerous than beginner moons.
How do factions affect Quasimorph missions?
Faction control determines enemy loadouts, barter inventory on the Magnum, and which storylines you can pursue. Reputation changes what traders offer and can lock barter access if it drops below zero.
What Magnum upgrades matter most early?
Navigation unlocks new destinations, Supply and Research enable crafting, and Cloning supports recovery after losses. See the Magnum Ship guide for department priorities by campaign phase.
Where should I read about Quasimorph storylines?
Faction pages explain political context; the Walkthrough hub covers Civil Resistance, Tezctlan, Xiomara, AnCom, and RealWare routes with nine endings in version 1.0.
